Sa Garrofa restaurant is a unique space situated in a rural property in Begur that offers daily menus and à la carte menus with vegetarian and vegan options. Under the slogan “We are what we eat” and following eco- and bio-friendly values, it works with small farmers from the area and supports slow and km 0 food in order to offer healthy dishes to its dinner guests.
It is the only flexitarian restaurant in Costa Brava which, besides being pet-friendly and allowing access to your pet, has its own urban gardens to grow the local produce that is cooked in its kitchen. This restaurant also has several gardens, ideal to share with your pet and for al fresco dining. It is a perfect space to hold events, such as weddings, baptisms, communions, company events, anniversaries, etc.
Its façade, decorated with wood porches under beautiful wisteria branches, hides a chill-out area with sofas that is perfect to enjoy an aperitif or one of the numerous cocktails the menu offers. Another of the restaurant’s strengths is a wide range of beverages, since it offers a large selection of artisan beers and organic wine, which are exquisite.
Additionally, at Sa Garrofa you can also find a wooden stage where musicians and artists often perform live, as well as a market area that turns into a “vintage market” during our “Special Sunday” sessions with music and local artists. Another of the restaurant’s attractions is its wide range of events and weekly activities, such as exhibitions and workshops organised by external partners, which are available on its website.

Sa Garrofa is a unique space with respect to the gastronomic offer in Begur because of its distinctive features regarding gastronomy and activities offered to visitors. It is surrounded by nature, away from the city, and has a meditation hall, where you can also join our sessions of meditation initiation, Tibetan Singing Bowl Meditation or Gong Baths. Pilates and aerial yoga classes are also offered, as well as workshops on different subjects, such as Women’s Circle, aromatherapy or Reiki Water.
This space accommodates artists and their works because Sa Garrofa promotes and spreads any artistic discipline that shares its philosophy and values. It is available for numerous activities and that’s why it has a growing number of collaborators.
