YOGA AND MEDITATION CENTRE

At Sa Garrofa we have introduced new classes in our Yoga and Meditation Centre.

Moreover, we will have different courses for the local community and also for all those people who are enjoying their holidays in this beautiful area of the Costa Brava.

Our yoga style is accessible and suitable for any level, from beginners to experienced practitioners. The new program will include yoga workshops, but we will also organise musical Kirtan nights and will make the most of this beautiful rural environment in order to offer walking meditation mornings.

YOGA AND MEDITATION HOLIDAYS!

For the first time this summer, you will have the opportunity of staying at Sa Garrofa to enjoy yoga and meditation holidays! Yoga holidays at Sa Garrofa will include a daily yoga and meditation program, as well as having plenty of time to enjoy Begur’s delights. There is nothing healthier than waking up to a morning yoga and meditation class to balance your body and your mind, followed by a delicious and nutritious breakfast. With that, you´re ready for the day!

We perform two types of Yoga: Integral Yoga, which includes practices proposed by the philosophies of Tantra and Vedanta; and Restorative Yoga, a gentle and therapeutic yoga based on Hatha yoga. Here, at Sa Garrofa you can also enjoy two types of meditation: Mindfulness, based on Vipassana meditation; and Heartfulness, an ancestral meditation technique that was developed in Kriya yoga traditions and Tibetan Buddhism.

OUR METHOD

Many yoga centres and professionals are mainly differentiated by the therapist’s personalisation. At Sa Garrofa, personalisation is fundamental in all types of yoga and meditation classes.

Over the course of the season, our students reply to our questionnaires and send us comments, which allow us to really get to know each student and his/her needs. That’s why we believe that our classes belong to Restorative Yoga in general, but if needed we later assign individualised positions to each student.
